Well, maybe - if youthink you want to sell seafood. The thing is, if you decide to do this as a home-based business, you can sell whatever you want! Seafood, aquariums, or scuba gear. The world is your oyster, so to speak...
Actually Squidoo has nothing to do with the ocean - it has everything to do with making money!
Squidoo is what's called a Web 2.0, social marketing, content-sharing website. What does all that mean? Simply put, it's a place where anyone can post anything of interest for others to see and interact with. It doesn't cost a dime, all you have to do is sign up and your one your way to sharing your ideas with the world!
Each Squidoo "web page" is called a lens, and it can contain articles, pictures, videos, items for sale, and much more. When you sign up and start creating these little web pages, you're referred to as a lensmaster. Bet you've never been a lensmaster before, have you? As a lensmaster, you have control over how your lens looks, and you can add, subtract and modify modules to your heart's content. You are truly the master of your lens.
So how does this make me money?
I know, you're here because you're interested in one thing - making money on the internet. Squidoo has several modules you can add to your lens that can generate income - for instance an Amazon module and an Ebay Module. In addition, they automatically put Google advertising on your lens, and they share the income from that with you. These are a couple of ways to generate income on your lens, but by far not the best.
